      <image:caption>Ebony Williams Special guest 2017 Ebony began her training at the early age of eight with the Boston Ballet focusing on ballet technique and The Roxbury Center for the Performing Arts where she trained in tap and jazz. After High School, Ebony went on to attend the Boston Conservatory where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Shortly after graduation, Ebony earned a spot in one of her dream companies – Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet. A ten-year veteran of Cedar Lake, Ebony has had the honor of performing works by esteemed choreographers such as Donald Byrd, Hofesh Shechter, Crystal Pite, Luis Fuente, Alexander Ekman, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Andonis Foniadakis, Johan Inger, Ohad Naharin, Jacopo Godani and Richard Siegal as well as a host of others. Her works as a performer also include a guest appearance with Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet on So You Think You Can Dance, and the film The Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. In addition to her concert dance career, Ebony's versatility has afforded her the opportunity to perform several commercial and entertainment works with award-winning artist such as Rihanna, Ciara in the Love, Sex and Magic video featuring Justin Timberlake or Jennifer Hudson's No one gonna love you video, Fergie, Jason Darulo, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce and many more. One of her career highlights as a dancer in the iconic 2009 MTV Music Video of the Year Single Ladies has allowed her to grace the stage with Beyonce on her I am...Sasha Fierce promo tour where she appeared in the American Music Awards, the Today Show, Saturday Night Live, the XLVII Super Bowl and in her Countdown video. Ebony is frequently invited to conduct master classes nationally and internationally.</image:caption>

She works with the following essentials in mind: Identity, individuality, multiplicity, character roles, sociocultural bodies, inward/outward limits. After studying applied arts and fashion, she has collaborated on a host of projects and experiments with, among others, Carlotta Sagna and Caterina Sagna, Edmond Russo and Shlomi Tuizer, Herman Diephuis, Maud le Pladec, Fabrice Lambert, Richard Siegal, Benoît Lachambre and Su-Feh Lee.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Claudia Ortiz Arraiza Dancer 2019 - 2021 Claudia Ortiz Arraiza was born in Puerto Rico where she studied classical ballet at the Conservatorio de Ballet Concierto. Her professional career as a dancer began at the age of 16 with her first roles at the Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico. After moving to Germany, she continued her training at the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich, where she was engaged as a corps de ballet dancer and then as a soloist with the Hessian State Ballet in Darmstadt and Wiesbaden. In recent years, she has performed as a freelance dancer among others with Marguerite Donlon's Donlon Dance Company and Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference. Her repertoire includes works and creations by Richard Siegal, Marguerite Donlon, Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, Itzik Galili and Russell Maliphant, among others. As a dancer and choreographer, she has appeared in short films and music videos. Claudia Ortiz Arraiza holds a bachelor's degree in art history from the University of Puerto Rico and is currently doing her master's degree in art and cultural management at the Leuphana University Lüneburg. Claudia Ortiz Arraiza wurde in Puerto Rico geboren und studierte dort am Conservatorio de Ballet Concierto klassisches Ballett.       <image:caption>Zuzana Zahradníková Dancer / Ballet Master 2020-2021 Zuzana Zahrdaníková was born in Olomouc, Moravia and trained at the Prague Conservatory. She became finalist at competitions in Vienna and Budapest and danced in several gala performances. After being a trainee in the season 1999/2000, she joined the Bavarian State Ballet one year later as a Corps de ballet dancer. In autum 2004, Zuzana Zahradníková was promoted to soloist, in the season 2007/2008 to First Soloist. Her repertoire includes solo roles in M. Petipa/P. Bart's La Bayadère, Don Quijote, Balanchine's Brahms-Schönberg Quartet, the second detail and Limb's Theorem by William Forsythe, as well as the White Lady in Ray Barra's Raymonda, Hermia in Neumeier’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the bride's mother in Kylián's Svadebka.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Allison Mcguire Dancer 2021 Allison McGuire is from Chicago and began her professional career at Visceral Dance Chicago as a 2017 apprentice. During this time, she was awarded Modern Dance Finalist at YoungArts. She studied dance at The Juilliard School, there she performed works by José Limón, Alejandro Cerrudo, Jacopo Godani and new creations by Bryan Arias, Nelly Van Bommel, Andrea Miller, and Matthew Neenan. Summer of 2020, Allison was commissioned to work for ISHIDA Dance Company based in Austin, Texas. From August 2021 on, Allison is engaged as a dancer with the Richard Siegal Company / Ballet of Difference at Schauspiel Köln. Allison McGuire stammt aus Chicago und begann ihre professionelle Karriere 2017 als Auszubildende bei Visceral Dance Chicago. Während dieser Zeit wurde sie als Modern Dance Finalist bei YoungArts ausgezeichnet. The agency works primarily in the field of production management, fund raising, international coproductions and international guest performance organisation. In the nineties ecotopia started a close collaboration with Theaterhaus Stuttgart where Johann Kresnik’s productions Francis Bacon and Othello starring Ismael Ivo premiered and then toured for many years worldwide. Since 1996 ecotopia has acted as producer for the Berlin-based dance director Helena Waldmann. As a result of the cooperation, about 20 pieces were put on stage and toured internationally. Other long-term collaborations include Compagnia Aterballetto from Reggio Emilia (I), Balé da Cidade de São Paulo (BR), São Paulo Dance Company, Grupo Corpo (BR) and Quasar Cia de Danca (BR), Nederlands Dans Theater (NL) as well as K. Kvarnström &amp; Co (SE). In 1997 ecotopia initiated the founding of Gauthier Dance//Dance Company Theaterhaus Stuttgart (D) which met with instant success. Today, the company collaborates with the international star choreographers and tours the whole world. Willhelm studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, during which he assisted Walter van Beirendonck, Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Dirk Bikkembergs. In 1998, he established his name sake fashion house together with Jutta Kraus. They debuted their first womenswear collection in 1999 and their first menswear collection was introduced in 2000. In 2002, Bernhard Willhelm moved their design studio from Antwerp to Paris, at which time Willhelm also took upon the position as creative director for the fashion house Capucci through 2004. From 2009 up until 2014, he held the position as head of the fashion department at Universität für Angewandte Kunst in Vienna, Austria. In 2011, Willhelm relocated his team temporarily to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and later in 2013 to Los Angeles, where the company has been based since.</image:caption>

In 2010 he was invited to join the Ballet Laura Alonso, in Havana – Cuba, company in which he danced for two years. In 2011 he joined with a temporary contract the “Cisne Negro companhia de dança”, in São Paulo. In 2012 he worked in a project from Venice’s biennial called “Arsenalle dela danza”, which was focused in bring together artists from different cultures to share their knowledges.       <image:caption>Diego Tortelli Dancer and choreographic assistent Italian Diego Tortelli received his education as a dancer in Italy first at the Accademia Nazionale di Danza a Roma and subsequently at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Starting out in Italy as a freelancer at the age of 18, he danced with Balletto dell'Esperia in Turin under the direction of Paolo Mohovic, and with the Teatro alla Scala and the DanceHaus Susanna Beltrami in Milan before his engagements led him to Valencia in Spain where he was a part of the Ballet de Teatres de la Generalidad for three seasons. At Valencia, he interpreted and performed pieces of well-known choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Jiří Kylián, Angelin Preljocaj, Thierry Malandain, Asun Noales, Goyo Montero, Carolyn Carlson and Ramon Oller. After four seasons in Valencia he was invited by choreographer and artistic director Gustavo Ramirez Sansano to join his company Luna Negra Dance Theater Chicago where he danced for two seasons working with Fernando Hernando Madagan, Fernando Melo, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Eduardo Vilaro – on top of dancing in a great number of works by Gustavo Ramirez. In 2012 he left Chicago to join Le Ballet National de Marseilles under the direction of the architect/choreographer Frédéric Flamand. Diego was involved in all the works by Flamand and the collaborations with international architects. He was working with choreographers such as Emio Greco, Pieter Scholten, Olivier Dubois, Richard Siegal, William Forsythe, Lucinda Childs and an installation by Christian Rizzo. Since 2015 he has worked as a freelancer in projects like Frédéric Flamand's restaging of Orphée et Eurydice with the Teatro Massimo in Palermo where he was also engaged as Maître du ballet. He also created a cultural association called Kor’sia together with three other artists in Madrid. He designed costumes for Luna Negra Chicago, Norrdans and for Gärtnerplatztheater in Munich. As a choreographer he created a duo for Introdans and Compañia Nacional de Danza/Madrid, Teatro Massimo in Palermo and Eko dance project/ Pompea Santoro. During the last few months he worked as a dancer with Korzo in The Hague and with MM Dance in Reggio Emilia. Right now he is working as a guest contemporary dancer for the Bavarian State Ballet in Munich and as a freelancer/assistant for Richard Siegal's The Bakery.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Lorenzo Bianchi Hosch Composer Lorenzo Bianchi (Milan, 1973) is a composer. He graduated in architecture (Italy) and composition (France) and after living in Spain, he moved to Paris where he now lives and works. He has composed music for albums, installations, theater, images and performances, including many contemporary dance shows of the dance company MK, (Rome) commissioned by: Biennale di Venezia, Festival Sant’Arcangelo, Roma Europa…) and on tour worldwide (Europe, Japan, Indonesia, USA). Bianchi has had many in-depth professional musical experiences and since 2004 has been a lecturer in multimedia composition at Franche Comté University in France, in the Multimedia Department. He is also a professor in the conservatory of Montbeliard, France. His interests range from instrumental composition with real-time electronics (mixed music/MAX-MSP-jitter), to audio and video installations, to soundtracks and compositions for theater and dance, stemming from a formally strict process of experimentation using electronic implemented improvisation. All this is created as a means of creation of new electro-acoustic sounds.</image:caption>

With Cedar Lake, Rich appeared in the 2011 Hollywood Motion Picture The Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. Während seiner Ausbildungszeit wurde er von der Texanischen Kulturstiftung zum Texas Young Master in Dance ernannt und mit der höchsten Auszeichnung der National Young Arts Foundation für Modern Dance honoriert. Im Anschluss an seine Grundausbildung studierte er Tanz an der Juilliard School in New York City und tanzte hier in Arbeiten von Crystal Pite, Jiri Kylian, Aszure Barton, Jose Limon, Richard Alston und weiterer renommierter Choreograf* innen. Nachdem er Gasttänzer bei der Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company Bodytraffic war, erhielt er 2018 sein erstes Festengagement in Deutschland am Ballett im Revier Gelsenkirchen unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Bridget Breiner. Seit der Spielzeit 2019/20 tanzt Mason in der Kompanie Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference am Schauspiel Köln.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Katherina Markowskaja Dancer 2017 and company teacher Katherina Markowskaja was born in Kiev, Ukraine where she completed her training at the National Ballet Academy of Arts. As a student, she was cast in performances of the National Ballet of Kiev. At the age of sixteen, she accepted a scholarship of the Heinz-Bosl-Foundation, offered to her by Konstanze Vernon. Ms. Markowskaja graduated from the Ballet-Academy Munich and subsequently joined The Saxon State Opera Ballet Dresden under Artistic Director Vladimir Derevianko. She was promoted to the rank of First Soloist two years later. In 1999, she received the Mary Wigman Award. Her repertoire includes classical principal roles such as Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), Giselle, Kitri (Don Quijote), Lise (La Fille mal gardée), Bianca (The Taming of the Shrew by John Cranko) and Ottilie (Wahlverwandtschaften by Tom Schilling) as well Natalia and Princess Claire in John Neumeier's Illusions – Like Swan Lake, Marie (The Nutcracker), Hermia (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Rosalind (As You Like It) and Chloé (Daphnis and Chloé). From 2010, she has worked as a freelance ballerina and trained with the Bavarian State Ballet, where she became First Soloist at the beginning of the season 2012/2013.</image:caption>

Since setting up his own practice Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design (KGID) in Munich in 1991, he has developed furniture, products and lighting for some of the leading companies in the design field. Amongst his renowned clients are Authentics, BD Ediciones, ClassiCon, Flos, Flötotto, Laufen, Magis, Mattiazzi, Muji, Nespresso, Plank, Serafino Zani, Thomas-Rosenthal and Vitra. For Galerie kreo in Paris, he has created a number of limited edition pieces since 2004. Many of his products have received international design awards such as the prestigious Compasso d`Oro for his MAYDAY lamp (Flos) in 200 and the MYTO chair (Plank) in 2011. Work by Konstantin Grcic forms part of the permanent collections of the world´s most important design museums (a.o. MoMA/New York, Centre Georges Pompidou/Paris).</image:caption>

      <image:caption>MARGARIDA DE ABREU NETO – TANZ (she/her) Born in Portugal in 1996, Margarida Isabel De Abreu Neto began her training at the Lisbon Dance Conservatory and then graduated from the Tanz Akademie Zürich in 2015 thanks to a scholarship she received after successfully making it to the semi-finals of the Youth America Grand Prix. At the beginning of the 2015/2016 season, she was offered an engagement with the Junior Company of the Bavarian State Ballet, where she worked among other choreographers with Maria Barrios, Dustin Klein and Davide Bombana. In April 2017, she joined Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference and worked on several productions including ROUGHHOUSE at Schauspiel Köln. As a guest dancer, she was also involved in the virtual reality project DAS TOTALE TANZTHEATER 360 (cooperation with ARTE/ZDF), which was presented at the Bauhaus Anniversary at Akademie der Künste, Berlin and in the production O, AUGENBLICK (directed by Tobias Staab) at the Schauspielhaus Bochum, Germany. Die 1996 in Portugal geborene Margarida Isabel De Abreu Neto begann ihre Ausbildung am Tanzkonservatorium von Lissabon und absolvierte ihren Abschluss dank eines Stipendiums, das sie für das erfolgreich erreichte Halbfinale des Youth America Grand Prix erhielt, an der Tanz Akademie Zürich im Jahr 2015. Mit Beginn der Spielzeit 2015/2016 erhielt sie ein Engagement an der Junior Company des Bayerischen Staatsballetts wo sie unter anderem mit den Choreograf*innen Maria Barrios, Dustin Klein und Davide Bombana arbeitete. Im April 2017 schloss sie sich dem Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference an und wirkte unter anderem an der Produktion ROUGHHOUSE am Schauspiel Köln mit. Als Gasttänzerin war sie darüber hinaus am Virtual Reality Projekt DAS TOTALE TANZTHEATER 360 (Kooperation mit ARTE/ZDF), das anlässlich des Bauhaus-Jubiläums im Januar 2019 in der Akademie der Künste Berlin präsentiert wurde, sowie in der Produktion O, AUGENBLICK (Regie Tobias Staab) am Schauspielhaus Bochum beteiligt.</image:caption>

At the start of her professional dancing career, she first completed a traineeship at the Washington Ballet. After joining the Oregon Ballet Theatre in 2006, she became a permanent member of the company the following year and was appointed soloist in 2014. In 2018, Martina joined the Victor Ullate Ballet in Madrid and is a company member with Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference as of 2020. He has been part of dance companies such as Stadttheater Osnabrueck - Nanine Linning (2010-2012), Stadttheater Osnabrück - Mauro di Candia (2012-2014), Staatstheater Braunschweig- Jan Pusch (2014-2015), Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company- Jacopo Godani (2015-2019) and guest artist for Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference at Schauspiel Köln in 2019. At the age of 10, he started studying music and also took some dance lessons. Two years later, he began to devote himself entirely to this discipline, trained himself in a wide range of dance styles and participated in competitions, where he won several prizes. At the age of 18, he began his training as a ballet dancer at the National School of Dance in Uruguay. In 2017, he was engaged to dance at the National Ballet of Uruguay under the direction of Julio Bocca and danced in ballets such as RUSSIAN HAMLET, CHACONA, THE MERRY WIDOW, DON QUIJOTE, ONEGIN. There he danced soloist roles in the classical repertoire as well as in works by choreographers such as William Forsythe, Mats Ek, Ohad Naharin, Jirí Kylián, Alexander Ekman, Lukas Timulak, Richard Wherlock and many others. Samuele Ninci wurde in Florenz, Italien, geboren. Er absolvierte seine Ausbildung an der Ballettschule der Mailänder Scala und wirkte dort in den Produktionen der Kompanie auf der Bühne der Scala di Milano mit. In 2015 she joined the Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater Schwerin and guested at Landestheater Coburg in 2016. Since the 2017/2018 season, she has been a member of the Landestheater Eisenach. This is Karin’s second season with Richard Siegal / Ballet Of Difference am Schauspiel Köln. The same year she joined the Bavarian Junior Ballet München under the direction of Ivan Liska where she performed works by Jiří Kylián, Hans van Manen, Christopher Wheeldon ,George Balanchine, Eric Gauthier, Jörg Mannes, Terence Kohler , Martina La Ragione among others. In season 2021/22 she joined the Aalto Ballet Essen. This is Benedetta’s second season as an ensemble member with Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference am Schauspiel Köln. Benedetta Musso wurde in Turin, Italien, geboren und schloss 2018 ihre Tanzausbildung an der Bolschoi Ballettakademie in Moskau ab.       <image:caption>EOIN ROBINSON - TANZ (he/him) Eoin Robinson is an American dancer who began his dance training in Massachusetts at the age of 11. At the age of 14, Eoin entered Interlochen Arts Academy where he graduated in 2013, a year early, with academic and artistic honors. In 2013, Eoin competed in the Youth America Grand Prix Chicago Semi-Finals and received a gold medal in the classical category and a silver medal in the contemporary category. He was a Finalist in New York City and spent the 2013-2014 school year training at the American Ballet Theatre’s JKO School on scholarship. Eoin is the 2016 recipient of the Lorna Strassler Award for Student Excellence at The School at Jacob’s Pillow, where he attended the Ballet Program in summer 2014 and the Contemporary Program in summer 2016. In the fall of 2014, Eoin began his freshman year at The Juilliard School studying under the direction of Lawrence Rhodes in pursuit of a career in contemporary ballet and modern dance where he performed the works of Merce Cunningham, Ohad Naharin, Nacho Duato, Jerome Robbins, Azure Barton, José Limón, and Pam Tanowitz. After graduating from The Juilliard School in 2018, Eoin joined The Staatsballett Berlin to begin his professional dance career where he performed the works of Mats Ek, Sharon Eyal, William Forsythe, Pina Bausch, George Balanchine, John Cranko, Marcia Haydée, August Bournonville, Alexei Ratmansky, Stijn Celis, Patrice Bart, and Victor Ullate. This is Eoin’s first season with Ballet of Difference am Schauspiel Köln.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>ANA PRESTA – REHEARSAL DIRECTOR (she/her) Ana Presta was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she began her dance career at the Colón Theater and later moved on to the stage of Milan to work with Rudolf Nureyev and Natalia Makarova. Ana then joined the Roma Opera Teatro Verdi Triste and toured with several different ballet companies. At the Israel Ballet in Tel Aviv, under the direction of Berta Japolsky, Ana danced for 3 years as a soloist, performing a wide range of the George Balanchine repertoire. Her curiosity and desire to expand her repertoire then led her back to Europe to work with Victor Ullate in Madrid and later the Oper Lyon where she performed works by Angelin Preljocaj, Maguy Marín, Jiří Kylián, Mats Ek and William Forsythe, with whom she continues to collaborate with by distributing his repertoire and improvisational techniques to young dancers. Ana spent the last ten years of her soloist career at the Semperoper Ballet Dresden under the direction of Aaron Watkin, concluding happily: “they were my best career years”. As an assistant choreographer and maître de ballet Ana has worked with the Frankfurt Dresden Dance Company under Jacopo Godani, Augsburg Ballet, Gothenburg Ballett, Semperoper Ballett and Oldenburg Ballet. As an assistant director, Ana was engaged at Teater Ulm for five years. Ana joined Richard Siegal / Ballet of Difference am Schauspiel Köln as the Ballet Mistress at the beginning of the season 21/22. Ana Presta wurde in Buenos Aires, Argentinien, geboren, wo sie ihre Tanzkarriere am Colón-Theater begann und später auf Mailands Bühnen wechselte, wo sie mit Rudolf Nurejew und Natalia Makarowa arbeitete. Anschließend schloss sich Ana dem Teatro Verdi Triste der Oper von Rom an und ging mit verschiedenen Ballettkompanien auf Tournee. Sean spent the years of 2019-2021 freelancing professionally in and around New York City, working and collaborating with a breadth of artists and companies including GALLIM, Helen Simoneau Danse, MADBOOTS, Madeline Hollander, David Michelak and Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison. As of August 2021, Sean is a member of the Richard Siegal Company / Ballet of Difference at Schauspiel Köln.   Sean Lammer ist ein amerikanischer Tänzer, Choreograf und Lehrer.       <image:caption>TOBIAS STAAB – DRAMATURGIE Tobias Staab, geboren 1981 in Stuttgart, studierte Theaterwissenschaft, Philosophie und Neuere Deutsche Literatur an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München und lehrte im Anschluss am Institut für Theaterwissenschaft. Zudem arbeitete er am theaterwissenschaftlichen Forschungszentrum Sound and Movement (SaM) für Gegenwartstheater und Neue Medien. Parallel dazu trat er als Konzertveranstalter, DJ und Musikjournalist in Erscheinung. Mit Ritournelle etablierte er 2012 ein Festival für avancierte elektronische Pop-Musik in den Münchner Kammerspielen und begann dort seine Arbeit als Dramaturg. Von 2015 bis 2017 arbeitete er als Kurator und Dramaturg für die Ruhrtriennale unter Leitung von Johan Simons. Er arbeitete u. a. mit den Regisseuren Johan Simons, René Pollesch und Julian Rosefeldt zusammen. Außerdem lancierte er unterschiedliche Programme und Festivals in den Bereichen Musik sowie performative und installative Künste (MELT FESTIVAL, NOISE SIGNAL SILENCE, PANTA RHEI FESTIVAL, BAUHAUS FESTIVAL 2019). Er war 2016 Mitgründer des Ballet of Difference. Seit der Spielzeit 2018/2019 ist er Dramaturg am Schauspielhaus Bochum, wo er auch das Programm des Oval Office sowie die Reihe Konzerte im Schauspielhaus kuratiert. O, AUGENBLICK in der Spielzeit 2018/2019 ist seine erste Inszenierung am Schauspielhaus Bochum.
